Project Description
Based on Streamline and the associated systems project GSAP, this project will align business processes in the Hydrocarbon Management and Sell to Business Customer as they relate to Distribution.
The Global and Standard solution in the distribution business area has been selected, which is based on the package Central Business System from Control Systems Incorporated (CSI) of Lenexa, Kansas. This application is referred to as Global Icebox (GIB).
Specifically Global Icebox will be the interface layer between GSAP and Global Terminal Automation Systems (GTAS), which will be a global solution that supports the business and associated 3rd parties’ Distribution terminal processes, consistent with StBC, HM and Master Reference Data Management in GSAP.
As a result of IT organizational change, the delivery of GIB and GTAS will become one IT program.
This request is for a local Data Analyst in Canada.
Currently the GIB is scheduled to be deployed in the Canada on 1st Jan. 2012, with TAS systems implemented in a different timeline.
Roles and Responsibilities:
R&R across a number of Project Implementation Activities and disciplines, in particular:
• Perform Data Analysis related activities
• Ensuring Business Analysis and Requirements accurately translated to respective Systems and Business Processes
• Business & System Data Analysis, and associated Data Cleansing & Conversion Analysis and Activities as well as Data Reconciliation
• Liase with Local Business, GSAP Team (HM, StBCand DIS) to analyze, collect and validate data from these systems and report back to the Central Data team.
• Collect and Analyze local TAS and local ERP systems data and report findings back to Central data team for data upload
• Works closely with Central Data Analysts to follow global Data Strategy
• Works closely with GSAP Data Team to align data settings and migration topics
• Works closely with local Test Lead and performs data related test preparation activities. Supports Integration (ITC), Confirmation Acceptance (CAT) and Parallel Tests and resolve data related defects
• Supports LES, local cut over and is involved in planning and execution (data collection, data preparation, data load and data reconciliation)
• Responsible for support of the cut-over plan and supporting the super users during Go-Live and Hypercare phase
• Reports into local Delivery Manager
• Close working, and information & status reporting relationship with Local Deliver Manager
• Supports the local Delivery Manager in issue tracking, follow up CR developments and/ or completion of requirement specifications

Technical Skills and Experience:
-SAP R/3 MM and/or SD knowledge (mandatory)
-MS Access (mandatory)
-Data Analysis Skills (mandatory)
-Data migration experience in at least 3 complete projects (mandatory)
-Oil Industry knowledge
-Supply & Logistic process knowledge
-End to end Systems Development & Implementation experience
-System knowledge about Terminal Automation System (TAS) in particular TopTec TMS6.20 (would be an advantage)
-System Testing practice/procedures
-GSAP process knowledge (would be an advantage)
