Senior Project Manager

A Senior Project Manager (SPM) to manage the rollout for Information Risk Management 2010 Program. There is a global program that will provide direction. Project will determine best approach for rollout of the program within the UA business. The SPM will manage this program on an interim basis and will be required to handover/transition work to PM within the later part of the 3-5 month assignment. Candidate will mainly work in Houston, there is potential for some travel - but shouldn't be more than 10%.
Skill Requirements:
This is a large program and the SPM needs to be senior with experience in managing large programs within a business area and understand PM Book PDF (project delivery framework. SPM should have 8+ years experience in managing projects. Experience with Information Risk Management program rollouts would be a significant plus. Understanding of Information Risk Management and the importance within the business is a requirement.
SPM will be required to manage the decision making and communication among a large group of management stakeholders. SPM will need to be good facilitator and communicator. Ability to summarize the decision points, issues, and risks, in a concise manner that will allow for quick decisions. Project is expected to follow project methodology, mandatory project deliverables and reporting that are documented.
