Informatica Admin. Consultant

Currently seeking an Informatica Admin Consultant (this is not a developer role!)

duration: 12 months

location:  downtown Houston, TX

Requirements:

  • Experience in setting up & configuring enterprise Informatica Implementation with Powercenter 8.6.1 preferably on Linux.
  • Experience with PowerCenter Enterprise HA & Grid (v8x).
  • Experience with Informatica code migrations and monitoring according to Company standards
  • Experience with all Informatica administration functions such add user access accounts, groups, roles, setting standards
  • Experience with Implementing Hotfixes / EBF’s / Upgrades.
  • Experience in handling Incident and Change Management requests through Tickets.
  • Coordinate with internal clients / storage / Infrastructure / DBA teams to resolve issues.
  • Experience in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica Data Explorer (IDE) and Informatica Metadata Manager (MM) would be added advantage Profile Requirement.
  • Should be a good team player with equal ability to work independently during weekends.
  • Strong Linux/DB knowledge.
  • Linux Shell Scripting will be a PLUS.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Ability to work with On-call after-hours Pager.
