Account Director with Oil and Gas Industry Experience  

Logica is currently looking for an experienced Account Director with Upstream Oil and Gas and IT consulting experience to join our team.

This position will require 10+ years of experience as an Account Management professional with broad, international business development and consulting expertise who has served as an industry group global leader responsible for managing client relationships and developing strategic business plans in multiple vertical markets.

Areas of proficiency include multiple platform solutions, outsourcing, business process reengineering, supply chain management, information technology, solution development, and general project management.

Responsible for creating and marketing industry solutions and the business development of information technology, project management, consulting, and outsourcing services.

  • Develop and lead new global client opportunities.
  • Responsible for understanding industry trends, identifying implications for industry participants, determining possible solutions, and creating value propositions.
  • Lead joint client solutions/business development opportunities with alliance partners, such as Microsoft and SAP.
  • As a customer-facing executive, developing and mentoring stakeholder and C-level client relationships and provided guidance on creation of account growth strategies to international account teams.
  • Initiate and execute local and global growth strategies.
  • Owns the client relationship with designated contacts/revenue stream within a line of business (EP, Downstream, etc.) but encourages and directs involvement with other Logica staff from delivery, bid team and senior management.  As such, they will be responsible for Order Pipeline, Order Fulfillment, Revenue, Profit, Client Relationships, and Client Satisfaction.
  • Develops and drives a focused strategy towards the account by knowing the account, the market, and Logica’s offerings and delivery capabilities, then translate the chosen strategy into an action plan.
  • Has sales responsibility within their domain, including achieving desired market share, managing relationships with clients, and Logica.  In addition, oversees the bid process for key strategic opportunities.
  • Manages the account like a business and maximizes order intake, revenue, and profit growth for the account. The objective is to maximize the long term value from the account across Logica.
  • Creates opportunities for local account managers and specialists to sell into the account. Identifies and develops large value propositions and international opportunities.
  • Monitors and ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Leads the (virtual) Account Team and executes together with this team the account plans. Co-ordinates resources (Account Managers, Sales Specialists, bid resources etc as appropriate...).
  • Ensures the desired position and market share, as set out in the objectives, are achieved through the use of consistent messages in every aspect of the account relationship on all appropriate levels.
  • Works closely with the global account team in order to leverage the group's key offerings and propositions, references and partnerships, and jointly develops and reviews account plans.

 Skills:

  • Strong executive business acumen and proven strategic thinking capabilities
  • Consultative selling skills, sales focus, business development knowledge
  • Knowledge of their respective industry segment (Upstream, E&P, Oil and Gas vertical, etc.)
  • Market awareness of SI/Outsourcing/BPO
  • Experience with Financial Management/ Operations Management at an executive level
  • Thought Leader, strong intellectual capability, solid communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor degree required, Masters/MBA degree preferred in General Business, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or other.
